Our Earth Beauty, an organic skincare brand rooted in clean, natural ingredients and intentional formulation, announces the launch of its Whipped Beef Tallow Balm, an unscented organic moisturizer developed for sensitive, leaning skin. The launch marks an addition to the brand’s growing portfolio and introduces a formulation developed through an extended process guided by owner John Kopicko’s long-held philosophy of creating health products without compromising the product’s basic function.

“As someone who grew up as a health product guinea pig,” Kopicko remarks, “I’ve realized most health products are just that, ‘healthy’, they miss the point of what most people actually want in a product.”

Designed for individuals seeking a fragrance-free, natural approach to daily facial hydration, the new balm reflects the company’s ongoing focus on healthy products without functional compromise, offering natural support for skin without a greasy feel. “It’s made to feel like how your skin is supposed to feel, not overhydrated and heavy, and not dry,” Kopicko notes. “I tried to find the perfect balance between the two.”  It’s formulated around tallow, selected for its potential compatibility with human skin and its long history of traditional use.

Building on this foundation, the balm features a minimalist blend of organic ingredients chosen to work in harmony, resulting in a whipped texture that absorbs comfortably and supports everyday moisture needs. Rather than relying on fragrance or embellishment, the formulation emphasizes familiarity and balance, allowing the skin to interact with ingredients it readily recognizes. “The ingredients used in our balm are organic, and the product is manufactured in the United States, with most ingredients sourced domestically whenever possible to maintain consistency and oversight,” Kopicko states.

The creation of the balm reflects a response to growing interest in traditional ingredients, particularly tallow, within modern skincare. While awareness of tallow-based products has increased, Kopicko chose to move at a measured pace, despite a tremendous financial risk and pressure. “People wanted me to launch last year, and I could have, but I was never interested in releasing something just to keep up. When I do something, I want it to be the best,” Kopicko shares. “I wanted the formula to feel better than anything I had used before.” That approach led to a development process focused on balanced hydration, texture, and skin smoothness.

This measured approach is rooted in a broader quality-first mindset that shapes Kopicko’s view of wellness and product development. “When something is made well, the benefits follow naturally. People should enjoy using it first, and then appreciate the health benefits,” Kopicko notes. This perspective guided the formulation toward a finish that feels nourishing yet light. It’s designed to offer hydration without heaviness and support the skin’s natural barrier.

Supporting this philosophy is a strong emphasis on control and accountability throughout the company’s operations. Kopicko personally develops formulations and maintains close visibility into ingredient sourcing and manufacturing partnerships. “If you look at Michelin star chefs, they are obsessed with ingredients. I wanted to recreate that with this product,” he states. “Picking the finest quality ingredients I can find is one of the reasons why our product is exceptional, and people have had such a strong reaction to it.”

Our Earth Beauty plans to continue expanding in ways that align with its values on health and function, exploring future launches that draw from ancestral ingredients, modern scientific understanding, and ethical sourcing practices. While deepening its presence in lovable, natural options to conventional synthetic products, the brand’s long-term goals remain grounded in creating value-aligned alternatives that fit seamlessly into daily life.
