Emerging from the vibrant city of Byblos, Lebanon, Earth Weavers™ is an innovative social enterprise born from the vision of husband-and-wife team, Manar Chehab and Rami Saad. They envisioned a new approach to fashion, one that harmonizes creativity, craftsmanship, and social empowerment. Their platform transforms mindsets, cultivates skills, and empowers women through entrepreneurial opportunities while upcycling textile waste into stunning designs, redefining style and preserving our planet.
Earth Weavers tackles three major challenges:
The environmental impact of the fashion industry, the high unemployment rate among women in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and the decline of traditional crafts. Their innovative approach combines training programs with upcycling, empowering women through entrepreneurial opportunities while simultaneously reducing textile waste.

Earth Weavers™ stands as a beacon of opportunity for women in the MENA region, the heart of Earth Weavers lies in its “Threads of Transformation” program. Inspired by the silkworm’s life cycle, this program, spearheaded by Manar and Rami’s combined expertise, equips women with the essential tailoring skills, handcrafts, entrepreneurial knowledge, and confidence to thrive as fashion entrepreneurs. Operating from a sorting facility in Beirut and four satellite locations across Lebanon, Earth Weavers currently empowers 31 trained artisans.
