With a lifelong dedication to education, Noelle’s journey began in her grandmother’s classroom at just eight years old. Today, she is the founder of One World Learning (O.W.L.), a company that supports children of all ages from Early Childhood Education to Middle School, emphasizing early intervention and reading skills.

A Legacy of Learning

Noelle’s passion for teaching is deeply rooted in her family history. Coming from three generations of educators, she was naturally inclined towards this noble profession. 

“My family owned a teacher’s store, and my mother was an educator, supervisor, and head of curriculum. She published a math book and taught everything from Early Intervention to High School,” Noelle recalls.

A lot of what I do is driven by the memory of her mother, who was three blocks from the Twin Towers in New York City on 911. She was a heroine who made sure every child was dismissed successfully, and the whole time, she was breathing in the smoke from the towers, which resulted in taking her life four years later due to lung cancer.

Honoring her educator lineage, One World Learning was her unique vision, born out of a desire to create an inclusive, creative, holistic environment for children facing various challenges.

At O.W.L., Noelle’s approach is both holistic and creative, aiming to build confidence and academic excellence in children. 

“We provide a support system for parents and children to face behavioral, social, emotional, and academic challenges,” she explains.

 This robust and exciting academic experience helps children create their own visions and realize their dreams.

Noelle acknowledges the challenges she has faced, particularly in scheduling and supporting parents. 

“Today’s parents are juggling so many things just to stay afloat,” she says. 

Her strategy for overcoming these obstacles involves honesty, compassion, and understanding. By empowering parents with knowledge and fostering a consistent, supportive environment, she helps them navigate the complexities of modern parenting.

What sets Noelle apart in her industry is her vast experience across different educational settings and her innovative strategies. She has worked in diverse environments, from impoverished neighborhoods to affluent communities, addressing a wide range of academic and behavioral challenges. 

One of her notable strategies is addressing “splitting,” a manipulation tactic used by children to pit adults against each other. Noelle’s concept of “Unified Clarity of Expectations” helps families overcome this challenge by fostering consistent and collaborative approaches.

She has helped children transition from special education to general education, achieve honors despite learning disabilities, and overcome significant academic hurdles. One of her most remarkable cases involved a 13-year-old who couldn’t read a single word. Within eight months, Noelle’s tailored program brought him up to a 3.8-grade reading level.
