In the heart of Flint, Michigan, a transformative journey commenced that would extend its impact far beyond its initial conception . At the young age of 19, while studying at Ferris State University, Marion Y. Johnson discovered her unwavering passion for uplifting women and propelling them towards realizing their inherent worth . This dedication gave birth to Women with Divine Destiny in 1995, marking the beginning of a lifelong mission to guide women through their darkest hours towards light and rebirth .

Marion’s journey did not stop there; her relentless pursuit of empowering women led to the founding of The Ladies of My Sister’s Keeper (MYSKI) Incorporated in 1999. Under her visionary leadership, MYSKIevolved from a campus-based initiative into a national movement, spreading its wings across five states. For over 15 years, Marion served as the steadfast President of the Purple Iris Chapter in Cincinnati , Ohio, touching lives and molding futures with grace and perseverance.

The year 2016 marked a pivotal moment in Marion’s path as she embarked on perhaps her most impactful venture yet – the Redefine Me Movement . Born out of a divine calling for next steps and further reach, this initiative stands as a testament to Marion’s undying faith and commitment to serving God’s purpose. Through the Redefine Your Healing Initiative mentorship program, Marion has crafted an oasis for Black professional women of faith who have faced loss or life transitions and are in search of redefinition, revival, and authentic community .

Celebrating eight years in business with a heartfelt motto – “Redefining & reclaiming Black women’s lives one Queen at a time” – Marion Y. Johnson has become synonymous with hope and empowerment among many who have been fortunate enough to cross paths with her or her programs.

The Redefine Me Movement provides more than just mentorship; it offers practical tools, activities, and guidance designed to aid women in starting anew. With over 60 graduates having matriculated through the course so far, each woman’s story serves as a unique testament to the power of faith-based support combined with actionable strategies for personal growth. Marion is not only a visionary leader but also an author whose written works include Emotional Wellness: A Guide to Finding Your Happy Place and Prayers That Heal devotional journal among others. Her contributions extend into co-authoring “TheLegacyProject”—resources that continue to inspire and uplift those seeking solace and strength during challenging times.

Beyond her formal titles and roles lies Marion’s core belief: “Enjoy every GOLDEN moment that God gives you and appreciate his timing in your life.” It is this perspective that imbues every aspect of her work with authenticity and profound respect for life’s journey.
