Yolanda Velez has spent a lifetime studying faith and living it in action. A proud Bronx native who embraces the pulse of New York City, she has committed over 40 years to teaching Sunday school and more than 25 years to educating students at Bible schools and seminaries. Now, with her book Excellence of Eternal Life, she seeks to extend her teachings beyond the classroom, meeting people wherever they are, whether in a church pew, a shopping mall, or a halfway house.

Yolanda’s journey into authorship wasn’t driven by personal ambition but by a calling. The question of eternal life isn’t just theological for her; it’s urgent, profound, and deeply personal. She has spent years answering the same question: How do you know there is a heaven and a God? Many have turned to her for insight, and her book shares her perspective with a broader audience. Rather than just explaining faith, she focuses on the challenge of connecting with those who may understand but still struggle to believe. To them, she asks a thoughtful question: What if you’re wrong? If her beliefs are mistaken, she has still lived a life of purpose and devotion. But if she is right, those who choose to turn away from faith may miss something more significant. This logical and heartfelt challenge has helped shape her mission.

Pastor Marlin Rojas was pivotal in guiding Yolanda through the book-writing process, introducing her to Publify Press, and encouraging her to put her wisdom into words. Through this journey, she has realized the stark gap in biblical knowledge among believers and non-believers alike. In a world that prioritizes likes, stocks, and fleeting trends, she has seen firsthand how little time people dedicate to contemplating their eternal fate. This realization has only strengthened her resolve.

Yolanda is not just about prayer and scripture. She is about action. She believes being a Christian means actively engaging with faith, not just reading about it. She urges people to absorb and apply the Word of God daily, integrating it into their lives meaningfully. With Excellence of Eternal Life, she hopes to inspire that shift in perspective, reminding readers that the afterlife isn’t just an abstract concept. It is a divine promise predestined by God’s excellence.

Her academic and spiritual credentials make her uniquely suited to this mission. Holding a doctorate in Christian Theology, she studied the philosophical questions surrounding faith, understanding that doubt is as old as time. Her experience in teaching has helped her communicate spiritual concepts in a way accessible to many. She recognizes faith as a personal journey and believes salvation must be deeply considered and nurtured.

As an evangelist at heart, Yolanda seeks to bring her message to churches, Bible institutes, seminaries, and anyone willing to engage in meaningful dialogue about faith. She is not confined to traditional spaces. Her ministry extends wherever people are willing to listen. Her goal is to answer the deep, often-ignored questions about eternity and challenge believers and skeptics alike to take their faith seriously.

For those who have yet to consider the weight of eternity, Yolanda offers this challenge: If you can find time to thank God in the good times, you must seek Him in the hard times. Faith isn’t about convenience; it’s about commitment. And the path to eternal life is too critical to ignore.

With Excellence of Eternal Life, Yolanda Velez isn’t just writing a book. She’s starting a conversation that has the power to change lives. Now, it’s up to the reader to take the next step: to absorb, apply, and seek the answers that lead to eternal truth.
