The prestigious Mrs. World pageant, the first beauty pageant for married women, took place on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Among the 38 delegates from across the world, one remarkable woman stood out and was crowned Mrs. World – Dr. Julia Schnelle, representing Germany.

Dr. Julia Schnelle, a 38-year-old board-certified medical doctor in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry, hails from Kassel, Germany. Serving as a deputy chief at her hospital before her maternal leave, Julia is also a proud mother of two children. Balancing her busy professional life with the love she shares with her family and friends, Julia embodies the essence of a successful modern woman.

During the highly anticipated Mrs. World pageant, each delegate showcased their grace, intelligence, and beauty in three areas of competition – interview, swimsuit, and evening gown.

Held at the iconic International Theatre in Las Vegas, the event was attended by many former Mrs. World winners, including Mrs. World 2001 Dr. Aditi Govitrikar, Mrs. World 2007 Diane Hardgrove, Mrs. World 2020 Kate Schneider, Mrs. World 2021 Shaylyn Ford, and Mrs. World 2022 Sargam Koushal. Although Julia’s husband, Moritz, and her family couldn’t be present at the pageant, they joined her from their home in Kassel, witnessing this historic moment in Mrs. World history.

As the winner of Mrs. World, Julia Schnelle will receive an array of prizes, including designer gowns, jewelry, designer purses, clothing by Manish Vaid, and a fully paid trip to Mrs. America. However, her victory represents so much more than material rewards.

Julia Schnelle’s passion lies in animal-assisted therapy, a cause she holds close to her heart. With a deep love for animals, particularly horses, and dolphins, Julia combines her professional work with families and therapy through her nonprofit organization, Island Dolphin Care, in Florida. Last year, her efforts raised an impressive $800,000, and she sets her sights higher this year, aiming for a million-dollar milestone. Her mission is to make psychotherapy more accessible and break down the barriers that hinder individuals from seeking help with mental health issues. Serving children, families, and veterans, Julia finds immense fulfillment in her work.

Reflecting on her recent success as the first Mrs. Germany to become Mrs. World, Julia shares, “I feel like this is a real-life Cinderella story. Dreams really do come true.” Committed to using her platform to bring about positive change, Julia will continue her work for Island Dolphin Care and advocate for two important causes: Beauty for Good and the Victoria’s Voice Foundation. The Victoria’s Voice Foundation, founded by David and Jackie Siegel after the loss of their daughter Victoria, focuses on raising awareness about the opioid epidemic and combatting the global mental health crisis for all generations.

The Mrs. World organization is thrilled to have Julia Schnelle as the reigning Mrs. World 2024. You can follow her inspiring journey on Facebook @MrsWorldPageant and on Instagram @MrsWorldPageant.
