Michalis Vitalis: The conception of MVPaws was deeply personal. In 2016, I traveled from Berlin to visit my brother in Los Angeles, accompanied by my puppy dog, Kiko. The abundance of rules, the constant anxiety about Kiko’s well-being, and the stark realization that pet travel was far more complicated than it should be propelled me to create MVPaws. It wasn’t just a business idea; it was about reshaping the very essence of pet air travel.

MV: Some might assume that our primary demographic consists of frequent travelers, both for business and leisure, who predominantly travel by plane. However, beyond that, MVPaws caters to every pet owner seeking assurance. Assurance that their beloved animals can travel comfortably and safely. Proof that they don’t have to leave a part of their family behind due to cumbersome processes. Our platform is as much about emotional well-being as it is about logistical solutions.

Q: Could you highlight the most innovative feature of your platform?

MV: In today’s digital age, technology goes beyond automation; it’s about connection. Our proudest innovation is the real-time pet monitoring system. Through this feature, pet owners can easily access their pet’s health data in their smartphone’s digital wallet and receive instant pre-authorization from their veterinarian and airlines. It’s not just about numbers; it’s about building trust and ensuring peace of mind in an otherwise stressful situation.
