Lusanet Collective, a creative hub and retail space founded by Lusine Simonyan and Anet Abnous, is redefining how small businesses and creators connect, grow, and thrive. Located in Downtown Burbank, the collective offers artists, designers, and entrepreneurs a platform to showcase their work, exchange ideas, and access resources that support personal and professional development.

Lusanet Collective results from its founders’ shared experiences and passion for fostering opportunities in the creative community. Simonyan, with a background in accounting and finance, and Abnous, an artist and luxury fashion entrepreneur, bring complementary skills and perspectives to the venture. Together, they have built a space designed to address the challenges faced by small businesses and emerging creators.

The collective’s mission is grounded in the belief that artistry and entrepreneurship can coexist and thrive. Through monthly pop-up events, curated exhibitions, and networking opportunities, Lusanet Collective helps members expand their audience and build critical partnerships with investors, manufacturers, and collaborators.

Lusanet Collective takes a hybrid approach by combining retail space, creative events, and business coaching. Members have access to a supportive environment where they can connect, share ideas, and develop their skills.

Lusine Simonyan, who holds a Master’s in Accounting and Finance from the French University in Armenia, has built a career as a Senior Accountant in Los Angeles. She also plays an active role in her community, serving as treasurer for the Burbank Armenian Association and the Zonta Club of Burbank. In 2021, her dedication to empowering women earned her a nomination for the 32nd Annual Women Achievers Award. In 2023, she was honored for the Women in Business Awards by Senator Anthony J. Portantino.

Simonyan’s vision for Lusanet Collective is deeply rooted in her belief that collaboration and resource access can transform challenges into opportunities. By creating a physical space for creators to connect and grow, she aims to provide the tools and support necessary for small businesses to thrive.

Anet Abnous, an artist, creative director, and founder of Anet’s Collection, brings a deep passion for art and fashion to the collective. Known for her designs that blend Armenian cultural motifs with luxury aesthetics, Abnous has exhibited her work internationally and developed a reputation for innovation and quality.

With a Fine Arts education from CUNY-Queens College and fashion credentials from Iran, Abnous also holds a Business Certificate from Cornell University’s Bank of America Institute for Women’s Entrepreneurship. Her experience in luxury retail, creative direction, and her nonprofit work and role on the Burbank Art Commission highlight her commitment to fostering creativity and community engagement.
