Rediscovering Midlife: How Tracy Worthington Helps Women Embrace Their Next Chapter

By: Sarah Jones

At a time when many women may feel told to slow down or settle in, Tracy Worthington offers them a script—and invites them to rewrite the whole story.

As she celebrates the two-year anniversary of her coaching company, Worthy Coaching SOUL~utions™, LLC, Tracy focuses on a powerful goal: to empower women 40 and beyond to stop asking for permission and start living with greater boldness.

“Midlife isn’t necessarily a crisis,” Tracy says with a confident smile. “For many, it’s a calling.”

After decades of helping women transform their outer lives through beauty and entrepreneurship, Tracy now guides them to transform from the inside. Her newest offering, Starring You™, is a 6-month private coaching program that’s emerging as a popular choice for women ready to step into the spotlight of their next act.

At the heart of the program is Tracy’s proprietary Redesign Your Life System™, a thought-provoking 6-step framework that helps women let go of outdated identities, align with their authentic purpose, and take inspired action toward creating the life they’ve always wanted—but perhaps didn’t think was possible.

“I work with women who are successful on paper but often feel quietly unfulfilled,” she explains. “They’ve checked all the boxes—career, relationships, family—but something inside them is whispering, there’s more. That’s where I come in.”

From Challenge to Renewal

Tracy’s own story reads like a masterclass in reinvention. After losing her husband to suicide in 2008, she faced not just heartbreak but a complete identity shift. She began a powerful inner journey, turning pain into purpose and choosing to rebuild her life on her own terms. Today, her journey fuels the meaningful work she offers, showing that even in our darkest moments, we can find ways to rewrite our story.

Years later, when the pandemic forced her to close the doors on her thriving beauty business, she was faced with another moment of reckoning.

Instead of retreating, she leaned into her lifelong passion for personal growth and began coaching women who, like her, had been through seismic life shifts and were ready to find their way forward.

Worthy Coaching SOUL~utions™, LLC was born in 2023, and the impact has been notable.

“I’ve always strived to make women feel seen and heard,” Tracy says. “Now, I get to help them see themselves again.”

And it’s not just about encouragement. Tracy brings over 30 years of business savvy, entrepreneurial experience, and a practical mindset toolkit to her coaching. Certified in Life Scripting and trained by the Transformation AcademyⓇ, she blends strategy with soul, helping her clients rewire their thinking, clarify their vision, and walk with greater confidence toward their dreams.

A Creative Entrepreneur with a Passion for Growth

Before coaching, Tracy’s entrepreneurial spirit was already turning heads. She created the upscale bath and body line OoohLaLa of Beverly Hills, which was sold at Nordstrom, Henri Bendel, and featured on QVC. She also launched Très Chic Amis, a luxe dog apparel brand inspired by her Yorkie, “Lucy”—attracting the attention of celebrities and landing features in Oprah Magazine, People, WWD, and InStyle.

“I’ve helped women glow from the outside in,” she laughs. “Now it’s time they glow from the inside out.”

Her work today has the same blend of elegance and empowerment, but with deeper roots. Her private coaching, live workshops, and signature tools like guided visualizations and scripting exercises are designed to help women reconnect with their voice, rewrite their story, and reclaim their power.

What’s Ahead for Tracy Worthington?

Tracy was honored by Palm Springs Life Magazine as one of the Top Women in Business, and she’s currently booking speaking engagements for 2025–2026.

Whether she’s on stage, inside a client session, or going live with her Empowered Beginnings™ weekly video series, one thing is clear: Tracy Worthington is not just helping women transform—she’s fostering a movement.

“I want women to know they have the potential to be the star of their story,” she says. “Not the sidekick. Not the background character. It’s your time.”

And if Tracy has anything to say about it, midlife is about to get a remarkable glow-up.

Learning in Free Fall: A Teacher’s Journey Through Challenges and Hope in Education

By: Julian Price

Nicole R. Terrizzi’s memoir, Learning in Free Fall, is a thoughtful and deeply personal exploration of the complexities of the American education system through the eyes of a teacher profoundly shaped by the challenges she witnessed and experienced. In this raw, authentic account, Terrizzi opens up about her time as a Teach for America corps member in Kansas City, where she faced significant barriers in her efforts to provide a quality education to her students. The book serves not only as a reflection of her journey but also as an invitation to reconsider systemic change in the way we approach education and mental health.

Terrizzi’s experience as a teacher in an urban school, where resources were scarce and students were grappling with food insecurity, trauma, and unstable housing, deepened her awareness of the many factors that influence a child’s ability to learn. She writes candidly about the day-to-day realities of working in a system that often appears to work against both students and teachers. “The most surprising challenge,” she recalls, “was the complexity of the issues within the education system.” From overcrowded classrooms to outdated textbooks, Terrizzi came to understand that traditional teaching strategies might not fully address the deeper, more systemic problems her students faced.

In Learning in Free Fall, Terrizzi introduces readers to one unforgettable student, Samuel, whose story illustrates the difficulties many children face in a broken system. Through Samuel’s lens, she explores how trauma, racism, and neglect manifest in the classroom, often creating barriers to students reaching their full potential. As a teacher, Terrizzi felt a deep sense of responsibility to help Samuel, reflecting on how the system frequently falls short in meeting the needs of children before they are in crisis.

What makes Learning in Free Fall particularly compelling is Terrizzi’s willingness to be vulnerable. She shares her personal struggles with mental health, including her own journey through depression, anxiety, and the emotional toll of teaching in an under-resourced school. Her openness about her own vulnerabilities helps frame the memoir not just as a story about education, but as a meaningful discussion on the importance of mental health support for educators and students alike. “We need focused support on social-emotional and mental health issues,” she emphasizes, suggesting that providing coping skills when students are already in crisis may not be enough. Early intervention and personalized learning, she argues, could play a key role in helping students manage their emotions and thrive academically.

While the issues Terrizzi addresses are vast, Learning in Free Fall also offers glimpses of hope. She explores how personalized learning, supported by research-based technologies and nonprofit organizations, could help address the individual needs of students. Through initiatives such as internships, STEM programs, and college access opportunities, students may find ways to reclaim their sense of agency in a system that often feels rigged against them.

Terrizzi does not present herself as a savior, nor does she claim to have all the answers to the problems she encountered. Instead, she encourages readers to reflect on the collective responsibility we share in addressing these issues. She advocates for community involvement, policy change, and increased support for educators and students alike. “It’s personal. It’s political. And it’s necessary,” she says, highlighting that the fight for educational equity is a challenge that touches everyone.

Ultimately, Learning in Free Fall is a moving narrative that invites readers into the world of a teacher who saw firsthand the complexities and emotional toll of working in an education system that many believe is in need of reform. Through her honesty, vulnerability, and commitment to change, Nicole R. Terrizzi’s memoir is not only an exploration of the challenges teachers face but a call to action for those who value equity, mental health, and systemic change in education.

Learning in Free Fall by Nicole R. Terrizzi is now available on major platforms, including Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and more.
