Meet Sabrina “Sabre” Ocasio, a woman who wears multiple hats with an effortless charm and high-spirited ethos. A fashion mogul, businesswoman, humanitarian, mentor, and healthcare advocate, Sabre’s life and career have been characterized by a relentless passion for making a difference.

Sabre embarked on her journey with a strong foundation in marketing and advertising, acquired at Temple University, where she majored in the field and minored in humanities. Her academic background paved the way for her growth into a dynamic powerhouse behind many successful events, exhibiting her skills in directing, producing, planning, and commentating.

Life, however, had a different storyboard for this ambitious woman. In 2008, the unexpected loss of her younger sister Sha served as a stark reminder of life’s unpredictability and fragility. This personal tragedy fueled Sabre to relentlessly strive towards her dreams, transforming the once fashion enthusiast into a purposeful entrepreneur.

But her tribulations were not over. In 2012, she was diagnosed with Graves’ disease, a condition that nearly claimed her life. Undeterred, this personal struggle gave birth to an undying spirit and resolute determination in Sabre. She moved beyond her affliction and emerged as an influential healthcare advocate, raising awareness and essential funding for all autoimmune diseases. In partnership with Amazon Smile, Lord & Taylor, and Macys, Sabre raised approximately $340,000, a testament to her unwavering commitment and monumental efforts.

Sabre’s personal battle with disease took a recurring detour in 2017 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Yet, she refused to yield. That very same year, Sabre was declared cancer-free, reflecting her mettle and ability to confront adversity head-on. She stood up to cancer again in August 2022, and despite the diagnosis, her spirit remains unbroken, her will to live and make a difference insurmountable.

Her life experiences and resilience led to the birth of Sabre Inc. in 2008 and Auto Immune Metro Style “AIMS” in 2012. AIMS is a large-scale charity fashion event centered on generating awareness for autoimmune diseases. It resonates with Sabre’s personal mission to save lives—the compelling force behind her every endeavor.

Sabre displays a unique amalgamation of love for fashion, children, and zeal in production. This passion has facilitated her foray into clinical research and autoimmune testing. She extensively participates in various organizations, working as a Breast Cancer network manager at women empowerment, a proactive member of the Rare Disease organization and the South Carolina caucus.

Through her tireless work and relentless passion, Sabre has earned well-deserved recognition and praise across different spheres. Impressively, she was honored with the USA President Recognition of 2016 by then-President, Barack Obama. As a survivor and an ambitious entrepreneur, Sabre aims to improve the lives of the disadvantaged, empowering them to achieve seemingly impossible dreams and to discover their true potential.

She extends her reach far beyond her personal and professional spheres, making fashion a channel for creating transformative experiences. It is evident in Sabre Inc.’s annual Autoimmune Metro Style Charity Fashion Show, a promising platform that fosters awareness of autoimmune diseases while encouraging aspiring designers to showcase their talent.

By marrying fashion and a noble cause, Sabre personifies impactful advocacy, defying life’s challenges with her unshakeable spirit and inspiring countless others in the process. Like a well-cut diamond, she shines in her multifaceted role—each facet reflecting dedication, resilience, and a determination that remains unscathed amid adversities.
