When Felicia Gallagher walked into what she envisioned to be her dream role—a CFO position at a high-growth company—she didn’t anticipate walking straight into a lesson that would shape her career in ways she never expected.
“I relocated my entire family for that job,” she shares, reflecting on the cross-state move she and her husband made with two toddlers in tow. “On paper, it seemed ideal. In reality, it turned out to be misaligned with who I am and what I value.”
What followed was a period of reflection, a sense of disappointment, and the beginnings of a new journey.
The Making of a CFO and a Founder
Felicia’s credentials paint the picture of someone poised for leadership: CPA, CMA, MBA, and over 20 years of financial leadership across industries ranging from manufacturing to healthcare. She has been involved in strategic planning, corporate transformations, and has held every position from accountant to CFO. However, what truly differentiates her is not just her technical expertise—it’s her steadfast commitment to purpose.
“I’ve always believed that integrity and insight should go hand in hand,” she says. “Finance isn’t only about numbers. It’s about understanding how those numbers influence lives, businesses, and futures.”
This philosophy came into sharper focus the day she realized that she could no longer serve a vision that didn’t reflect her values.
From Breakdown to Breakthrough
After stepping away from the misaligned CFO role, Felicia faced a common question that many women encounter after a professional pivot: What comes next? “It was overwhelming,” she admits. “But I also realized that I had a choice: I could pursue another job or build something on my own.” That “something” became ThreeStone Solutions, a boutique consulting firm grounded in the values that have always been important to her: Faith, Family, and Excellence. The name ThreeStone is intentional—representing the three pillars Felicia refuses to compromise on.
“Faith grounds me. Family inspires me. And excellence, that’s the standard,” she says. Through ThreeStone Solutions, Felicia helps founders, executives, and investors navigate complex financial landscapes with confidence. But her work goes far beyond just balance sheets and reports.
“I work with people who are seeking clarity, not just numbers. People who want a strategic partner, not just a temporary fix,” she explains. “I immerse myself in the core of the business. That’s where true transformation takes place.”
Her firm provides everything from fractional CFO services to complete financial infrastructure transformations, but each project begins with a conversation, not a pitch.
“We listen first. We ask ‘why.’ We challenge assumptions. Because when you align the numbers with the mission, that’s when a business becomes truly effective,” she says.
A Note to Women Rebuilding
As a wife, mother, and founder, Felicia understands the pressure women often feel to balance it all, even when things are falling apart behind the scenes. “My message to any woman in a season of change is this: You’re allowed to rebuild. You’re allowed to walk away from ‘almost right’ in pursuit of what truly fits,” she says.
And rebuilding doesn’t always mean starting from scratch. Sometimes, it means reconnecting with who you really are and creating something that finally aligns with your core values.

Today, Felicia is at the helm of ThreeStone Solutions, helping companies build financial clarity, operational resilience, and long-term vision. But more than that, she’s creating space for herself, her clients, and for other women to work with integrity.
“I don’t want success that comes at the cost of my well-being,” she says. “And I don’t think other women do either.”
Because when women build based on their values, rather than solely on their resumes, they don’t just build businesses.
They build legacies.
