In addition to his pivotal role at Dula and Dozee, Dr. Taylor serves as the Medical Director for Nova Medical Centers at Fulton Industrial, where he specializes in occupational medicine. Here, he provides clinical care and oversees patient treatment and rehabilitation. His expertise in diagnosing and treating work-related injuries—including broken bones, fractures, trauma, muscle injuries, and lacerations—has made him an invaluable asset to the center. His dual role exemplifies his ability to balance clinical practice with operational leadership, ensuring that both individual patients and the broader healthcare system benefit from his extensive knowledge and experience.
Dr. Taylor’s impact on the healthcare landscape is further highlighted by his previous work as the founder and Medical Director of Northwest Women’s Care, a prominent part of the WellStar Health System. Under his leadership, the practice experienced remarkable growth, expanding by more than 300% over 12 years. With over 150 deliveries per month, Northwest Women’s Care achieved some of the lowest mortality and morbidity rates, along with high success rates for C-sections and VBACs (vaginal birth after cesarean) in the Atlanta metropolitan area. The practice became one of WellStar’s largest OB/GYN practices, serving a diverse patient population with quality healthcare services.
Dr. Taylor’s dedication to delivering quality healthcare extends beyond his private practice and corporate medicine roles. He has a deep commitment to serving underserved populations, which is evident in his work with community health centers in Miami, Florida. There, he provided essential primary care, prenatal, and obstetrical services, filling critical gaps in care for underserved communities. His passion for healthcare equity is also reflected in his role as a clinical instructor, where he has mentored medical students and residents at the Center for Haitian Studies in association with the University of Miami, Nova Southeastern University, and Ross University Schools of Medicine, as well as the Larkin Family Practice Residency.

Raised in Durham, North Carolina, Dr. Taylor’s academic journey is as impressive as his professional accomplishments. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Morehouse College, followed by a Master of Science degree from North Carolina A&T State University, and a Doctorate in Medicine from East Carolina University. He completed his Occupational Medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania and his OB/GYN residency in Baltimore, Maryland. Further enhancing his leadership capabilities, Dr. Taylor holds a Master of Business Administration degree. He is an active member of the Atlanta Medical Association, Georgia Medical Association, and the National Medical Association, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and community engagement
Currently residing in Fayetteville, Georgia, with his wife and daughter, Dr. Taylor continues to be a key figure in advancing healthcare, particularly in the fight against postpartum depression and other perinatal mood disorders.
