Mold is a pervasive issue in schools across the United States, with an alarming 50% of educational institutions grappling with mold infestations in their classrooms. This widespread problem has raised concerns about the health and safety of students and teachers, as breathing in mold spores can lead to a range of health issues.

In recent years, there have been numerous reported cases of teachers and students falling ill due to exposure to mold in school environments. For instance, in a high school in Ohio, several teachers developed respiratory problems after prolonged exposure to mold in their classrooms. Similarly, in a middle school in Florida, a group of students experienced allergic reactions and respiratory issues, with doctors attributing their symptoms to mold inhalation.
