Menopause affects millions of women every year, but despite its widespread impact, it’s still surrounded by silence, stigma, and outdated information. Many women feel unsupported and misunderstood by traditional healthcare systems, which often default to hormone treatments or pharmaceutical solutions without fully addressing the broader needs of menopausal women.

Recognizing this gap, Allie Theiss, MSc, CSC, ABS, a Menopausal Care Provider, and Integrative Wellness Coach, is dedicated to shifting the menopause narrative. Through her Thrive Framework™, Theiss offers a holistic, integrative approach that empowers women to manage menopause with confidence and vitality.

“Gen X women are louder and more empowered than ever. We’re not willing to sit quietly through menopause or accept outdated treatments,” says Theiss. “Women deserve solutions that address the whole person—physically, mentally, and emotionally.”

Her approach combines wellness expertise, personal experience, and a deep commitment to guiding women through this transition with compassion and understanding.

The Thrive Framework™ is Theiss’s signature six-pillar method, which encompasses nutritional guidance, stress management, mental health support, physical activity, lifestyle adjustments, and spiritual well-being.

Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, her method offers a holistic view of menopause, helping women understand how lifestyle choices, diet, mental health, and physical wellness intersect to create an overall state of balance.

For women experiencing common menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, brain fog, and fatigue, Theiss’s method provides tools to reclaim energy and emotional well-being without relying solely on pharmaceuticals.

One of the powerful aspects of Theiss’s work is her focus on mental health during menopause—a topic often overlooked.

Theiss has found that mindfulness, meditation, and cognitive exercises are critical for women navigating emotional changes. She emphasizes that emotional wellness is equally as important as physical health during menopause and advocates for women to recognize and address this side of their experience.

Her commitment to comprehensive care has earned her national recognition, including features in Cosmopolitan and partnerships with platforms like Maven Clinic and MenoWave, where she provides expert guidance to women in menopause and postpartum.

“I want to give women the resources and support that I wish I’d had when I started this journey,” explains Theiss. “Menopause is a major life transition, and every woman deserves to feel prepared, informed, and empowered.”

In response to the growing demand for non-traditional menopause care, Theiss has expanded her offerings beyond one-on-one coaching to include virtual retreats, online classes, and a monthly menopause care package, MenoBox

Her upcoming “Empower HER” retreat in early 2025 will be a virtual event designed to help women re-ignite their passion, power, and pleasure through menopause and beyond. During this retreat, participants will learn practical strategies for managing symptoms, improving nutrition, enhancing sleep quality, and reconnecting with themselves.

As the conversation around menopause continues to evolve, particularly among Gen X women, Theiss’s platform offers the education, support, and empowerment many women have been missing. She believes that the current generation of women is ready to advocate for themselves, challenging outdated ideas about menopause and creating new norms for this stage of life.

Theiss is also a strong advocate for workplace awareness of menopause, a need she believes is critical in the push for gender equality. Menopause impacts women across industries, and many companies are unprepared to support employees experiencing it. Flexible schedules, supportive workplace policies, and an open dialogue can create a more inclusive environment where women feel comfortable expressing their needs.

“Menopause isn’t the end of vitality—it’s the beginning of a new chapter where women can reclaim their power, prioritize their well-being, and truly thrive,” Theiss says. Her mission extends beyond menopause management; she aims to transform the experience into a period of growth, empowerment, and self-discovery.
