When you slip on a bracelet in the morning or fasten a necklace before heading out the door, you’re probably not thinking too deeply about it. But what if those small moments—those quiet seconds of routine—could become something more? What if they transformed into opportunities to realign, breathe deeply, and set powerful intentions for your day? That’s the magic that Cat Hutchings, CEO and founder of WonderLight Jewelry, has infused into each piece of her collection. It’s more than just jewelry—it’s a daily invitation to be mindful, centered, and present.

Cat’s journey from college entrepreneur to the creator of WonderLight Jewelry began with a simple love of design and craftsmanship. But as her life evolved, so did her vision. WonderLight Jewelry, launched after a decade of running her first business, SpotLight Jewelry, grew from Cat’s deep desire to empower women through everyday mindfulness. She realized that jewelry could be more than beautiful accessories; it could be a tangible reminder of the goals, affirmations, and intentions that shape our lives. “Every day, women spend about five seconds putting on their favorite pair of earrings or necklace,” Cat explains. “At WonderLight Jewelry, we transform those same five seconds into powerful moments of clarity by attaching specific mindsets to each piece of jewelry we create.”

The key to WonderLight’s approach lies in its unique use of gemstones, affirmation cards, and intention-based designs. Each piece of jewelry is carefully curated, not only for its aesthetic beauty but for the properties of the gemstones it features. Whether it’s a bracelet made from healing stones or a necklace adorned with crystals, each item is paired with an affirmation card that encourages the wearer to embrace a particular mindset. These aren’t empty promises or dubious claims about the power of gemstones. Instead, WonderLight Jewelry takes a more grounded approach, acknowledging the influence of mindfulness while honoring the natural, positive vibrations that come from crystals and healing stones.

This focus on mindfulness and spiritual connection sets WonderLight Jewelry apart from other brands in the industry. Where many focus solely on fashion, Cat’s vision is rooted in something deeper—a belief in the power of small, intentional actions. “I wanted to create jewelry that felt purposeful,” Cat says. “Something that reminded women that they are capable of anything, that they can choose their mindset each day.”

But the path to building WonderLight Jewelry hasn’t been without its challenges. In fact, one of the biggest obstacles was gaining visibility and helping people understand the purpose behind the brand’s mission. It’s not always easy to explain how a bracelet or a pair of earrings can contribute to someone’s sense of mindfulness, but Cat knew that she was onto something powerful. In 2023, after a decade of running her business, Cat rebranded from SpotLight Jewelry to WonderLight Jewelry, narrowing her focus on the specific problem she wanted to solve: helping women feel more mindful, aligned, and present through intentional, meaningful accessories. This rebranding wasn’t just cosmetic; it was a declaration of purpose.

Cat’s experience as an entrepreneur gave her the confidence to make this bold move. After starting SpotLight Jewelry in college, she built it into a thriving business, selling to over 600 boutiques worldwide and achieving more than 100,000 sales. Yet, despite this success, Cat wanted more—a deeper connection with her customers and a brand that aligned with her personal growth. Participation in Season 10 of the business reality TV show “The Blox” was a game-changer. The mentorship and connections she gained gave her the push to think bigger, dream bolder, and hone in on her vision for WonderLight Jewelry.

Now, WonderLight Jewelry isn’t just about adornment. It’s about empowerment. Every piece in the collection carries the potential to remind its wearer that she holds the power to shape her thoughts and, in turn, her life. Whether it’s a necklace meant to inspire clarity during meditation or a bracelet designed to help you stay grounded during your day, the intention is the same: to help women harness the quiet strength that lies within them.

Cat’s vision for WonderLight Jewelry doesn’t stop here. In the coming years, she dreams of growing the brand into a multimillion-dollar business, all while staying true to its core mission of empowerment. She plans to continue expanding the WonderLight community through social media, email marketing, and paid ads, reaching more women who seek to integrate mindfulness into their daily lives. But success for Cat isn’t just about numbers; it’s about connection. “I want WonderLight Jewelry to be a source of inspiration,” she says. “I want women to feel that they’re not just buying a piece of jewelry—they’re investing in themselves, in their growth, in their ability to be mindful and present.”

Beyond business, Cat and her team are deeply committed to giving back. WonderLight Jewelry is involved in supporting local communities and small businesses through initiatives like the Kiva chapter, where portions of sales are reinvested into helping others succeed. This sense of community and connection is at the heart of everything WonderLight does. It’s not just about creating beautiful, meaningful jewelry—it’s about fostering positive, uplifting relationships that ripple out into the world.

WonderLight Jewelry is more than a brand—it’s a movement. It’s a reminder that mindfulness isn’t about grand gestures; it’s about the small, intentional moments that shape our lives. And in the midst of a fast-paced, ever-changing world, Cat Hutchings has created something beautiful, timeless, and purposeful—something that empowers women to carry their intentions with them every day in the form of a necklace, a bracelet, or a simple, powerful affirmation.
