Stacey Jackson is redefining the pop star mold, proving that age is merely a number and empowerment is a lifelong journey. Launching her music career at 40, she has captivated and inspired women globally with her tenacity and passion. Her latest single, “SUPER WOMAN,” released on July 19th, is a vibrant pop/dance anthem and the title track of her forthcoming album.

Jackson was motivated to write “SUPER WOMAN” by the dynamic, strong-minded women who have surrounded her throughout her life. She believes that the positive energy and inspiration from these women have been a driving force in her creativity. “All of my positive relationships throughout the years have been integral to my journey, and that’s what inspires my songs,” she shares.

Balancing roles as a mother, entrepreneur, and musician, Stacey credits her success to the support of her community and a steadfast commitment to self-care. She stresses the importance of personal happiness, saying, “If you are not a happy ‘You,’ you cannot be a happy mom, partner, friend, or co-worker.”

A pivotal moment in her career was her collaboration with Snoop Dogg on “Live It Up.” Reflecting on this milestone, Jackson remarks, “If someone had told my 11-year-old self dreaming of becoming a pop star that 30 years later I’d be recording with Snoop Dogg, I would’ve thought they were crazy.” This experience not only validated her artistry in a challenging, ageist industry but also boosted her confidence to pursue more ambitious projects.

Her upcoming album blends 80s-inspired pop with modern dance tracks, showcasing her deep connection to the music of her youth. “I grew up in the 80s and have been massively influenced by the genres of music from that era. The sounds in the studio today are even more sophisticated, and working with both young, talented producers and industry veterans helped me achieve a fusion of sound between the 80s and the 2020s,” she explains.

Through her lyrics and performances, she aims to inspire her audience. “When I perform, I try to share stories about why I wrote certain songs and funny or interesting tidbits from my journey. I love engaging with the audience,” she says.

Her active involvement in social causes further underscores her commitment to making a difference. Stacey has been a vocal advocate for women’s rights and mental health awareness, often using her platform to highlight these important issues. “Music is a powerful tool for change, and I want to use my voice not just to entertain but also to inspire and advocate,” she says. Her work extends beyond music, as she frequently engages in community outreach and collaborates with various charities to support those in need.

Stacey Jackson’s story is a testament to the power of resilience and the impact of a supportive community. As she continues to evolve as an artist and individual, her message remains clear: true empowerment comes from within, and it’s never too late to reinvent yourself and pursue your passions.
